Sound Dampening Blankets
I saw a link around here somewhere for a shop that sells sound dampening blankets for around $20. They were around 5x6 feet I think. I could use a couple of these. Does anyone know where I can find them online?

The thread I recall was talking about mover's blankets. Here's one source, if that's what you're talking about -

I went to uhaul and they gave me a few old moving blankets for free. They said just not to tell anybody.

Thanks. I remember seeing a site that sold actual sound dampening blankets though. Will these work well for a makeshift vocal booth?

You could get these -

Home depot also has moving blankets if you want instant gratification and of course, to pay a little more for the convienence.
I've also found in a pinch, thick fluffy down comforters are -okay-. |
