Song inspired by ~~Walter Tore~~~

I wrote this after seeing Walter's first post in the clinic a couple of weeks ago. He has graciously allowed me to use the story in a song.

14 Racks of Ribs........

I am honored. I love your tune and I am sure others will too. It has a style that I could never play, yet love to listen to. Thanks Walter

Excuse me but I would like the links to the original related to Walter. I haven't heard the connection so this is confusing.

I have been cooking 14 racks at the same time... yes i think i was hearing this simultaneously.

That voice so suited for blues work, excellent job but not engineering related just luckiness I guess. Keep up the good work heavy..

Love your voice, Hevy. You nailed the backup vocals too.

What is it about boogie that is *so* satisfying? Great big good guitar sound on this one. You did a really good job on this one.
Makes me wanna go drink beer in the bar and listen to stuff like this.

You really from Port Hardy? I used to live in Victoria, and we talked about Port Hardy like it was the ends of the earth. Do you have a bar in Port Hardy? Do you live in houses, or tents? I guess there isn't much to do of an evening except to keep pushing on the record button, huh?

Really like the song and the way you do it.

Nice blues......very over-compressed I think.....that's what's probably making it have that saturated sound........I think.
pretty decent guitar work....a few timing issues but still nice......

Komp - have you been drinking? I must be getting old, your post was a bit confusing. Thanks though

axe - thanks man!

dobro - You were closer to us in Vic than you might imagine.
A lot of work has been completed on the inland island highway.
I can get from PH to Naniamo in 3.5 hours now?

30 years ago you could only get here by boat or plane!
We have all the modern amenities up here.
I cruise the net on the wideband

almost forgot, thats my wife (prozkgrl) on bkups,
more of a dcup really

LT Bob - mbrane mentioned that too.
I can't figure out the source.
timing issues are part of my charm
thanks for the listen!

Whoa Dude!! What are you psychic?

As a matter of fact I was drinking yesterday, but how you deducted that from my post is amazing..

I've posted my share of the "Wwhwhzuzzaaa aI aliked ta song atawas goood ur goood!"

It looks like I'm still holding coherence together. I guess what I'm trying to say is where can I find the Walter song that you say was the inspiration for this. I wanted to hear where you were coming from.

Cool

Cool song. Nice chops. Great sound on the lead guitar - I'm a sucker for harmonics!!! Your voice works on this too. I think.

Sometimes, when you were playing around the beat, I got a sense of unsureness, or struggling. Playing around the beat is cool, in my book, but it's more effective if it really sounds effortless.

Rhythm git was maybe just a little muddy.

Otherwise, great. Real fun song - we might borrow it for the:
3RD ANNUAL HRBBS JAM & BARBECUE!

I gotta second (or maybe "third" - I haven't read all the comments on this page) the request to ease off the compression. Performance sounds solid as usual, but it could definately stand a little more breathing room.

This song's making me hungry...

Version 2

I'm not sure where the compression was from so I toned things down a bit mostly vocals.

Hey Hevy,
Wow this is cool. Im not sure which version im listening to. Im listening on my computer speakers here at work (where compression has to be pretttttty over-done to be offensively noticable), and i dig it. What i "really" like is the ambience of the tune i hear here. It sounds like watching a band at the fair, or some other small outdoor venue. ....really cool!! I dig the vocs too. Great N. Youngish winey vocs.... perfect for the tune.

This made me wanna go grab a bratwurst, and a big plastic cup fulla flat tap beer.... Great work man!!

Wonderfully sloppy vocals! I just love wonderfully sloppy vocals.

A new rib joint just opened down the street. The guy is supposed to cook the best ribs in southeast Michigan. My tummy is saying yes but my wallet says no. I better not listen again until I've had something to eat.
