A guitarist I worked with over the years on many occasions got a sound that would always just melt my heart. I would really love to hear this sound if anybody does this kinda thing any more. I know a lot of folks have gone to using the pods for space, time, cost, and noise level economics.

a stock strat, forward on switch, wah with pedal pressed down, thru a 50 watt mesa with ev-12, first stage distortion on, sittin on concrete block in a small nonambient room, turned up so hot that it`ll peel your face skin off, with a md421 about 3' high and 4 ft distance picking it up.

I`ll have to hook up an old hard drive to the pc and look around to find it, but I have a guitar solo recorded at 8bit on that very rig. I`ll post it for you as soon as it gets found.
