Here are a few random comments (the first thing that popped into my head, as I went through it):

1.) "Wow, no black guys in a hip-hop operation."
2.) "Clicking TWICE to enter this site really blows."
3.) "'NewHomepage' is a really strange thing to use as a title."
4.) "The grammar isn't the worst I've seen, but it's quite close."
5.) "The one dude's picture in black and white at the top is really bugging me."

In truth, I don't have a real opinion. It's got some good things going for it, but it takes time to sift through the bogus stuff to see that your design ability isn't bad, and that you have some sound ideas.

Sorry, $.02 is all I've got.

Not too bad DJT. It's a little hard to read in the news and info panes due to small font. I like your use of color. Overall I give it a B-.

1. two opening pages sucks - the .com should be the third page i see

2. all those ads for webclubs and betworks make your site look cheap

3. the black and white pic dude at top is cross eyed in the photo and looks stupid as hell - take new pic

4. the writing on the main page (third page) is horrible on the eyes.

5. the main info page should be center and NOT left aligned

6. quit with the scrolling words - very childish

7. guestbooks make sites look childish

8. counters make sites look unprofessional

9. it has alot of potential, take this advice and advice of the others and it will be ten times better

I agree with what everyone has said except about the guestbook.
I think ALMOST everysite should have a hosted form of discussion for the visitors- be it guestbook, or message board. Does your site really need one, I'm kinda on the board, kinda leaning to no maybe. But if you do keep it: Customize it to fit the rest of the site's design.

And the "Links" on the left side.
I'd at the least center align them left.

So, you can keep them centered in that visible table, but they will match each other to the left.

I hate when there's a vertical listing and it's riggid looking because it's poorly center aligned.

Also your main image, the one with: "RawCut Productions [four guys including the eyely annoying black and white guy]"

at the VERY left of the image there's little spaces of white, re-edit that image and cut that crap out of it

for the page titles...
Keep a common theme like, EVERY page says just:
"RawCut Productions"
"RawCut Productions - Bringing you a new level of Hip-Hop"
or
"RawCut Procutions - News" (Artits)

rather than:
"NewHomepage"
"AdvertisementPage" (which really needs to be cut, or included on the intro maybe under the site's main graphic, and above the - enter site -)

most the fixes are very minor, good luck.

The overall design is cool, but as said, the 2 pages that you have to go through just to get to the home page suck. take out the second page. I'm still redesigning my site. But i just hav'nt got to the point where i like it. What Software did you use to design your site?

having designed a few sites myself (if you want me to paste links I will)

And I can tell you that I think there is a movement to make sites as minimalistic as possible, with smooth lines and only 1 or 2 text styles.

The main thing is you have to design a good logo for the top and use images for your links (will take longer to load but it looks so much better)

Get rid of the scrolling text
No pink!!!!!!! (just preference I guess)
I like the font on the top image, I would make that bigger.
I would go with a white background and make a black border around the areas that are now pink.

I'm trying to say i'm all that in webdesign (sorry if I came across that way) Just my 2 cents.

Just for curiosity, do you host your website or does someone else?

I think the first page is cool. When I click on links though, it is like I am at a new site, the bgcolor isn't always the same, the banner changes, the left-hand nav bar changes, the right-hand links/ads go away...It just doesn't feel smooth.

Oh, and please don't say your site is under construction, every good site is under construction...

Since you are soliciting opinions...

Make the site uniform in layout, color and style across each and every page. A consistant interface is easier to navigate for your visitors, and easier on the eyes. Several of your pages had a black background, then a white background. Do this fast enough and your visitors might fall over

I would also recommend killing all the "top this" and "top that" logos that are scattered throughout your site. I and many others automatically associate banners like that with "anklebyters", which is not what you guys are obviously about. Focus on the music, the gear, the people, and you'll have a really nice site.
