You may want to look into some of the stand-alone recorder. Roland, Boss, Korg.... there are lots of nice ones out there. Some have a flash media card if you really want to transfer to your pc.
In fact others have a usb connection so you can plug them straight into the pc. Just a suggestion in case you have not considered this cheap yet efficient option. Ryan |
