Unhappy Stolen Stuff ?!

Ok. so I'm not an advocate of people stealing things...ESPECIALLY when i work damn hard to pay for my shit and they just got out and get the same thing i worked 8 months to get they just go and take it..but recently my freind was moving and he had a band but they broke up and he STOLE a mackie VLZ1202 pro mixer from Mars, and a Boss digital recorder he said i could have them so i took them i really have no need for them (except the Mackie VLZ pro) because i have really good recording stuff way better than a boss digital recorder, but anyways if I were to bring the recorder to guitar center to trade in for cash would they see the serial number and think I stole it? Or would they just take it and give me the cash? let me know.

If you even have to ASK that question, you're not only a fucking IDIOT, you're also a CRIMINAL fucking idiot.

Take the stuff, wipe ALL your fingerprints off it, and find a way to give it back to the store. If nothing else, UPS it with a fake return address and name.

Ever heard of the crime of "Receiving Stolen Property" ???

You've got the stolen goods now. If you go to pawn it and it comes up stolen, no one will care about any story.

You KNOW it's hot but you wanna take it to GC for a cash trade-in???

WTF is wrong with you???

I thought Mars went TU............

Maybe you can donate it to a local community center or something as a way to make amends............ personally, I hope you learned that receiving stolen goods is a very BAD idea. Not sure with Mars being gone that there is any way to make things right at this point.

Are you fucking stoooooooppppiiiid?(I guess thats a stupid question)You want to committ a felony,go right ahead, but dont expect anyone around here to conspire with you.
The smartest thing you can do is give that shit back to the theiving little fuck-head that gave it(I have serious doubts about the gave part;you bought it off of him, didnt you?)and tell him
thanks,but no thanks.
If you dont do the right thing, you will most likely find that folks here aint gonna help you learn shit.

Be sure and use a little of that dough to go buy a douche. And study the box to see how it's spelled while your washing the *** out of your stinky little snatch.

With all due respect to those whom have responded to this unfortunate post, let us not bow to the level of the ignorant teen.

This is sad to say the least, but we do not need to respond in any other way than recognize we are disgusted with this act.

Son you may want to note that your ip has been logged and I might venture to say that your address can then be derived. The information contained in your posts can then be sent to your parental figures. Just curious weather they would be interested in what there little boy has been flaming on this board.

This site is intended for instruction and sharing of studio building and display information. Should you decide it to be a location to rant on a childish level due to an obvious lack of attention from your parents, please show some restraint, and stay on the subject at hand.

Thanks

^ I'd like you all to look at my first post and notice that quote above. for all those who didn't bother to read the whole post and just jumped on to let your mouth run faster than your minds and eyes. A GUY gave ME the stuff. I came upfront with the guitar center guy and he LAUGHED and took them and GAVE ME MONEY in exchange. I did nothing wrong. if you were to look at anyone with disquist maybe you should look at the guy who gave me the stuff. Enough said. anyone else who continues to argue and have their heads swollen I just give you the one fingered salute.

The legal term is "posession of stolen goods" - carries a jail sentence.
Its people like you who are causing the non-stop sharp increases in the insurance rates of every musician and studio.

Yep. You are a dumbass. You did do something wrong. Actually depending on where you live you could be charged with several crimes, and so can guitar center and the employee that told you that. Dumbass. You can go to jail for that.

Or is Fairfax county more appropriate?
Perrhaps the state police would be the ones to contact if you crossed county lines.

I bet this guy would love someone to forward this thread to him!

close. but it was 7 corners. this is fun. now guess what high school I go to. I can guess you went to hmm it comes in blurry but I notice you had no freinds... oh whats this also that you have no life? wow. you must have had a rough childhood. your adulthood isn't looking up either.

well first of all i'd like to say FU&K off
if you don't get it why don't you
go shove your head back up your @$$
and don't waste my time
i don't need your opinion
so keep your mouth shut
this may come as kind of a surprise
i don't like you and i don't care
what you think about what i do
and most of all, i don't need your opinion
so keep your mouth shut
well finally that's the way it is
i did somethin' you dont
and your tellin' me it's $HIT.
it's a waste of time
we can't change our opinions
i don't know what it's like to be you
i don't know what, so i'll keep my mouth shut
How bout you keep yours shut too
