Teac 35-2: any good?

Howdy folks,
does anyone have experiece with the Teac 35-2 reel to reel 2-track machine? Someone here has one in the paper for $100, and I think it would be fun to have a reel to reel machine for cutting up tape, flying things in, etc., as well as mixing to. Assuming that the heads and transport are alright, are these good machines?
