usb midi interface

I have a pc running win98 and I am looking to purchase either a midi man or an Edirol. Is there any difference between these to brands? I am just looking for a interface to hook my sampler up to my computer with one midi out and one midi in. Any thoughts or advice will be appreciated.

Thumbs up

I think both are well known good MIDI port Never saw any problem reported on both (if there was ever, it must be Win98's fault!). So, -although I only have tried old MIDIman serial port interface- I think either one will be just fine

My friend recommended midiman, but I like the edirol version because it comes with the midi wires. If I can find the edirol than that's what I am going to get, but if not the neighbourhood music store sells the midiman.
