Vintage STC mics. How good are they?

Heard of someone selling Ex-BBC STC mics and wondered how good they are? I know that the 4038 is highly respected as an overhead and brass mic, but has anyone heard of these others?

4021, 4033, 4035, 4037c & 4105?

I know they are all ribbons except for maybe the 4105?

If they are in mint condition, how much are they worth?

Cheers

(I'm a little excited)!

All the 'STC' mic's I've heard have been pretty excellent sounding... but, seeing as they're not traded everyday, there is no real "street value" established.

In the case of mics like these the basic rule of thumb is: if a buyer is willing to buy, and a seller is willing to sell... and they can agree on a price... then you have established the current 'market value' for the units as you are the only market.

Best of luck with them... please share your observations if you get them.
