Question fostex d2424lv to pc

hello,
maybe stupid question but anyway:
I've recorded a band on a fostex d2424lv in a studio, now i want to mix and master in cubase sx at home, what is the easiest way to get the tracks on my pc?
can i connect a pc directly to the fostex and import?
do i have to save to scsi device first?
what about the syncronisation when i import the tracks?
can you connect pc to fostex and mix (control fostex) without importing
huge thanx for any help
grtz kim

Oh the joys of doing it all in a PC.

Do you have a manual for the D24,.........yeah I know from experience how they are written in Jenglish, but if you persevere you can usually get a grasp of things.

You could always contact Fostex's tech support .........OR on the Fostex US website there was a forum where you could possible find other D series users.

SCSI to a removeable media device or Lightpipe thru a sound card.

Hi Skippy!

Thank you for the kind words! My main hangout is rec.audio.pro and I try to cover the Fostex D series questions as best I can but I often point people to this forum and tell them to look for posts by Skippy! ;-)

John
