Anyone used a TL Audio C1 Dual Valve Mic pre???

And is it worth $289 used?

A decent mic pre is my next investment and $300 is gonna be about all I will be able to budget.

I know the DMP3 get a lot of praise but saw this floating around and was curious.

Jeez, $289 used. Hell, yes it's worth probably $800 if it's in good condition. Great box. Get it. I used a C1 as the main front-end for my first project studio. It's way better than anything you can buy new under $500.
