Post songs recorded on your MR-8
Hey everyone, I'm in the final stages of saving up enough loot to get my home studio going, and I've settled on purchasing the MR-8 as my multitrack. I'm still a week or two away from the purchase, though, and I'm dying to hear some specific examples of what these things are capable of. So if anyone's interested, how about posting a link to the most recent stuff you're recorded on yours, as well as a list of the other gear and software you used in conjunction with it?
I know there are MP3s posted all over the place around here, but it'd be cool to have everything done on the MR-8 in one place. |

Here's mine.
www.nowhereradio.com/artists/?aid=2892/singles I used the MR-8, Shure Beta 58a mic homemade pop filter (pantyhose and coat hanger) mixdown did on n-track If you are going to use n-track or other software that accepts VST or Direct X plugins, just go ahead and get endorphin and anwida. Here are the links: www.anwida.com anwida reverb light (great reverb, the best I've heard for free) www.digitalfishphones.com endorphin (soft knee compressor that really helps in pumping up the volume before burning.) |

Hey Gospel, I have to thank you for turning me on to the Anwida reverb, it really is excellent. Certainly the best for free, and better than the reverb in N-track, cool edit pro and cubase. It gets my vote for best free plugin.

Thanks again Gospel. I'll have to get myself over to their site.
