Recording Big Band Outdoors

I gotta be crazy but the $$ is right. Middle school big band under a roof but outdoors. Any suggestions?

Is this the Titanic II?

I'm canning the gig. Too many variables, too many headaches, can't guarantee a good recording, and I'd have to have a million mics with middle-school kids knocking them all over.

Told them to call me when they're indoors......

But hey! Thanks!
