M Audio Tampa anyone?

Hi ya folks

I was just wondering if anyone had any feedback to give about the Tampa?

How is the converters?? I noticed it has AKM converters, and the Dynamic Range is 110. I looked on the AKM site and it seems like it matches up with the AK5383.

How is the PREAMP? Anyone have any feedback they can give?

it was real nice with one of my female singers but with my male singer it sounded a little dark... all in all its a nice unit to have

I've not used one, but the word on the streets is its marvelous for electric guitar and as a bass/keyboard DI, but not incredibly spectacular on vocals

Thumbs up

Great box for the price. Has a very nice, open sound. You can also get the comp to growl a bit if you lean on it.
