I've had a VoicePrizm Plus for about a year and I have NEVER, EVER been able to get a sufficiently musical sound out of it to use it for anything serious.

I have a Voice PrismPlus and think it is a wonderful piece of technology that I use very succesfully all the time. It is not a substitute for Talent but it helps. You need to spend time with it and learn how it works, but it does a lot of very cool things and it is a very good PRE in its own right. I highly recommend it. Just be prepared that it is not a toy and you need to invest time in learning how it works and experimenting with the unit and its different capabilities.

Actually the Voice One doesn't have as much functionality as the VoicePrism Plus has, but it is a nice box as well. But the VoicePrism Plus has more toys.

You need a robot that sings and writes lyrics while you lip-sync.

Cool

Work on your own voice before you apply a thousand dollar band-aid.

I'll bet that $500 on voice lessons and better mic technique would take you farther.

Lots of people with 'terrible' voices make 'good' singers too.

Make the most of what you got before you ask the robots for help.

I feel for you dude, you are one of the lucky guys who makes it out...i am not a fan of this state at all. My wife makes me stay here. I want to go to Arizona. I can't stand snow...IT SUCKS!!!!
And for the Voice PrismPlus, it is in immaculate condition. has warranty, has the VoiceCraft...voice modeling card. I think it is quite a useful tool. As for the VoiceOne that is a good tool, but the VoicePrism Plus w/Voicecraft card is the flagship model for these things. As far as Harmony sounds it is among one of the most realistic sounding processors, but vocal talent helps. The effects are good, but the harmonies are crazy. Also the modeling voice card is amazing. I have never heard anything remotely like it for this price. I think that the VoiceCraft upgrade is really important to the functionality of the unit. It just makes everything better sounding, and gives more options, it also adds some presets. If you hook it up to a keyboard you can control harmonies from a keybaord. That is a great function. I don't really know what you know about this unit si i figured i would share some of it's features with you. Later All!!!

The midi is fairly easy to use. With the midi keyboard it is really simple, what in specific do you want to know. If you have a basic working knowledge of midi, it shouldbe olf hat to you.
