Talking Two Songs done on VF-160

These are not the final mixes but they will appear on my upcoming cd later this year. Feel free to review.

Excellent songs Dave. My favorite is I Want Someone. Really a great song. Sounds like something that Rascal Flatts would do (if you've ever heard of them?). I think you did a great job of recording also. The harmonies sound great. There is nothing wrong with your recording at all and I'm no expert, but if you stacked that harmony part one or two times it would really sound great.

Well you know everybody hears different. I'm not a Rascal Flatts fan per say. I don't buy their stuff, but saw them on a live concert on CMT and thought they were some talented guys. A lot of the stuff they did in the concert was along the same lines as I Want Someone.

Dave;

Nice, clean recordings and Cool Toonz to boot my fellow VF160 user.

Did you do this all internally or use it in conjuction with the puter?

It is all internal. Only PC use was to load them as MP3.

Thanks for commenting.

Well Dave, I gotta say that those are some top shelf songs! Well done, creative, and to say the least...a different sound. Although you remind me of someone, I just can't put my finger on it right now.
Just a couple of things that are easy to correct, in "Fade away" you have a couple of clips (I think) @ 2:04 and 2:49 give or take a sec or two. Also.....this one you could just take it for what it's worth (very little)...maybe in the end, when you're saying "don't treat me bad" you could find a way to get the song title in there too. If I didn't know better, I'd think the song was called "Don't treat me bad".
The only thing I could see with "I want someone" is the lead vox need to come up a pinch.
Good work man, I wanna hear more!
