Sync Triton With Sequencer???

I have a Triton and Im trying to sync it up with Cubase SX, my cables are correct; my settings are just wrong. What Im trying to do is simple....

1) Import a drum loop into Cubase SX
2) Start my sequencer on my Triton
3)When the Triton sequencer starts recording, I want Cubase to play the drum loop I imported at the same time.

Its pretty simple but I know my settings are all wrong in the Sync setup, I really do need help with this one guys. Thanks!

They should both be setup for Midi Sync or MTC and one needs to be designated as the Master.

What are you doing is a little screwy and not that common. Why don't you just use Cubase and record the new sequences to that instead of trying to sync up two different sequencers?

Well, I would use Cubase as my sequencer if I had more knowledge of its quantizing capabilities and so forth. Im very familiar with the Triton's sequencer.

BUT!!! If I find out the exact way to link up my Triton to Cubase and use Fruity VST's sounds; without my keyboard playing its instruments... I would be satisfied. Thanks for the post.
