ampex model 1270 tube stereo reel recorder/player - 1/4" tape, runs at either 7 1/2 or 3 3/4 ips, 3 dual track stacked heads, rca inputs, 1/4" outputs. includes xerox copy of the complete manual, power cord, ampex tape reel, takeup reel.

i bought this about a year ago and have never tracked with it, but have passed signal thru it to good effect. it looks like freakin' new! seriously, the tubes look like all new sylvania tubes and there is no oxidation or even dust anywhere on the unit. it has a bunch of 12ax7 and 12au7 tubes and various transformers. i have some pics that i can email to anyone interested tomorrow.
