Budget passive monitors
Ok, yall.. I need to get a pair of decent passive monitors by the end of the week….
we will be on a tight budget, but we’ll also be getting some nice active monitors in 6-8weeks. the budget is $300 so with that budget what type of monitors would you get that are clean for producing hiphop and r&b? I plan on going to pick the monitors up locally…so…right now the only monitors I can think of: Event 20/20 (I find them to be a little harsh in the high end, other than that not bad for $300) Event TR5-N (never used them) Krk K-rok (by looking at the website they don’t have any bass response, I’ve never used them) What else that I may be able to by locally in Atlanta? |

I've got a recording mate who just dumped a pair of them for that reason. Spend $400 and get a pair of Behringer truth monitors. I'm not at all big on the "B" brand but those monitors are a steal at that price. |
