cool edit pro and midi

hey folks!
i have a triton studio and i have been using cooledit, but i wanna know if could use sooledit to sequence as well. if so how do i do it? so far i have been saving the song in the triton as a midi file on a floppy and then i open it in the cool e. session and then i record it as a stereo main track and then if i have vocals or live instruments i record them on top. now the results are not bad but i am certain they can be a lot better. i also wanna find out how to pan/mix in the triton better.
help please
thanx

Sorry, Cool Edit is concerned with editing audio and basic multitracking. No sequencing included yet.

What you can do is sequence your tracks on your Triton or a software sequencer, then save edit instrument as its own MIDI file. Cool Edit can play back the midi file to your Triton, and then you can record the audio back into your computer.

Check out the help section or your manual. It'll tell you all about it

A cat named CHANGE OF POETS had the same dilemma about a month ago, using CEP and a Triton. See if you can find him, or look up that post in the Keyboard/Sound Module forum

That would sure make the sell-out much more bearable...

Maybe they'd wanna go ahead and toss some VST and instruments as well?

Maybe then, the man wouldn't be so bad....
