arrrghhhh!!

I just felt like venting my frustrations...

my band spent 3 hrs tonight recording a new track for our independent ep and we recorded drums, bass, and guitar....

I brought the card for my mr8 home to edit what we had gotten done.. and like an idiot accidentally deleted the drums.. by importing them into ntrack and accidentally removing the track without an undo..

this make me want to scream. Now we have to do the WHOLE song over...

That bites...

there IS an upside to this...

In all likelihood this is a mistake you will NEVER make again. Like when I shot 36 pictures of a unique winter scene, but neverchecked to make sure the film was properly engaged. One week later at the processor, no pictures! I made that mistake once. Never will again. Neither will you.

We all have done some things like that.
It's called 'live & learn'.

Later, when you've built up a nice collection of 'l & ls' you can refer to them as experience.
Even later, once everyone has forgotten your experiences, you can refer to them as someone elses screw up.

The camera thing; I still leave the lens cover on about 20 - 30 % of the time.

I hope the band are forgiving of this mistake. Like the other guys have said, we've all been there.

Don't you only have to re-record the drums?
