Syncing a drum machine to Cool Edit
Have you ever done this? Could you explain a bit of the process to me? I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm considering an HR-16, but will get a DR 770 if it's capable of syncing with Cool Edit.
Also, if I get a stand alone softsynth like Absynth, how exactly do I make a MIDI track (i.e., not in real time audio, but synced) and sync that with Cool Edit. I suppose this is part 2 of another question I've asked elsewhere, but that one seems to have done it's job ![]() Shawn ![]()

You'll need the MTC-fuction, I suppose (Midi Time Code) or SMPTE.

Thanks

Yeah I think that's no problem. Since I'm not too familiar with the subject, better read some articles about it on the syntrillium site or studiocovers.com.
