Stabilizing Floyd Rose

I want to stabilize my floyd rose bridge to increase sustain without having to switch to a set bridge. What would be good methods of doing this?

A small piece of wood the thickness of a pencil between the bridge and the body of the guitar will block the trem, and is how techs set up the spring tension properly so that the bridge is floating level in use. And if you change your mind about playing "blocked", just lean on the whammy bar and it slips right out.
