what's up bknot? i peeped your beats, good to see some more production on here.

Who Said- i believe this needs some more to it. i think some snares to compliment the tempo would be nice. the kick drum in the 4th bar count is a little off, it comes in about a sixteenth of a measure early.

WillieBRiddem- this beat needs a little more, it has a nice basic groove going on, but i think you left a lot of frequencies open i this. i like the way the groove picks up a little around the 1:50 count.

EveryThing- this is nice, i can picture either twista, mjg, trick daddy freekin this one out. it still needs more sounds, i think a snare with a little more rim on it would sound better. the snare you have in this sounds tinny and thin, has that old school casio keyboard type of sound that was common in the new edition era. you could stack a rimshot with this and bring it out.

Bang To This- i'm not really feeling the groove in this one, the drum pattern could use more switch ups to bring this beat out a little. i think some more sounds is needed in this.

overall- i think the beats are cool, but you need some work on stacking sounds, feeling your frequencies, changing up the drumpattern, and better drum kits. keep up the good work, and keep reppin florida.

take trick daddy's " a ha shut up" song. the brass melody that's in that song is stacked. i'm pretty sure they have a horn and trumpet playing at the same time, just like in a real marching band. playing two idental sounds at the same time is stacking.

you can either stack; same instrument with different pitches playing the same part at the same time, or different instruments same pitches, or different pitches playing the same parts(notes,melody,combinations) at the same time.

a lot of instruments tend to overlap frequency ranges, it's common for one to drown out the other. you can avoid this with a combination of techniques, but for this discussion, stacking is one of them.

just imagine two males talking at the same time saying something totally different but at the same volume. someones voice is going to be stronger than the other's. you can ask the person to talk up so that you can hear him or you can stack his voice. let's say the one getting drowned out has a female to join in the conversation. (hyperthetically speaking) and say everything he is saying at the exact same time word for word, you would be able to hear him better now. you just stacked his voice.

her voice may be the one to help what he's saying cut through the other guys voice. vice versa, if it was two female talking then a male joining the female that is being drowned out can help her voice cut through.

that's why back up singers usually come in three. that way they can fill all the frequencies and you are able to hear them clearly at a lower volume(background).

when you stack you have to adjust the volume because the sound is now louder and greater.

i added some effects from my RM1X and then some more effects when i put it in Cubase SX..some reverb on the beat, and something else i cant remember..
