Why does cakewalk start on measure 1107 when I start the song on my external device at the first measure?

Maybe you havent set the offset right in your external device?

I've never done this and I,m not sure how to change the fostex .What do you mean by "change the offset"???

I've synced many MIDI-devices to Sonar (as slave or master), and when stuff like this shows up, it's often a minor setting you have forgotten. I'm not familiar with the fostex, so I cannot tell you which...
The Offset is what measure nr. you tell the slave (in this case Sonar) to start on...
