questions need help sona/pc-and mac/logic -+

I'm new to computer recording i've got a sony vaio w/cakewalk's sonar program .One of the guys who i wanna have record w/ me has a mac and is using audio logic. Is it possible to send him files even though we aren't using the same computers,and different software??What would I have to do. Thanks-I'm a newbie who needs help

You could trade audio files as .wav files. And if you are using midi, you can trade files using .mid files. That's a pretty basic answer, I know. But it will work...

Does Logic save files in OMF format? OMF is an interchangable format between multitrack software. You should be able to record a project in Sonar then open it in Logic (after saving in OMF) and vicevursa. I haven't tried it myself, however it should work... fingers crossed.

Try it out, see how you go,
