VF-16 fade in/out

The manual for the VF-16 makes a reference to a feature that allows fade in or fade out of the master fader. However , I have been unable to find the documentation for this feature. Has anybody out there found and used this this? If so, please tell me how.

You might be able to set a scene to fade in or out.......I just do it the old tried and true way by using my hand to slide the fader up or down.

I dont think there's much more to it than that.

Unfortunatly the feature they refer to actually means to fade the master in and out!

I questioned them on this and this unfortunatly is the answer!
