Question Getting my mixer tomorrow, some questions

Whats up,

Im getting a Behringer 802A tomorrow , (thats all i can afford right now)

Anyways,

to connect it to my computer do i use the 'main out' to my line then record like i did with cool edit?

also, any tips? im gonna be using a studio projects B1 with it...


anything i should know when im setting up/recording

sounds like you about got it- one piece of advise- when your hookin stuff up plug in the B1 BEFORE you turn phantom power on, and turn phantom power off before you disconnect the mic-

Look up "berhinger mixer" and monitoring in the Cakewalk forum and in here for more details, we have been flogging this horse for the last week or two here, primarily for the 602A being hooked up to an Audiophile 2496 card, but there are several ways to hook up, depending on other gear you have/software and how you want to route signals. IF you need more help, post again.

Too bad those don't have inserts on the mono channels (with the mic pre's). That would make for a much better setup for recording. Oh well.
