My new B1 nose dived into my wall..ahh!

Bugger. Stupid flimsy mic stands! I've pushed the wire mesh in on the front of mic..kinda bends inwards like a semi-circle. Its not too bad but damn...not a happy camper. Still sounds fine luckily

Bummer. It's traumatic whenever ANY of our babies get hurt. But at least it wasn't an $800 baby!

I offered to fix this for Brett, but he lives in a country far away, but I did contact him to tell him how he can fix it by himself. So yes, be glad it was not a real expensive mic, but it sure does sound like an expensive mic...

Surprised at how heavy this mic is...keeps wanting to fall forward. But there certainly is ways to get around it..thanks for your suggestions!

The cheap way out is to find some old barbell weights at a yard sale and put them on your mic stand's base.-Richie

If you use a boom arm, shorten its length, If the clip is slipping as a result of the weight of the mic, you need to tighten it. Click Here For Help

lol. If it was a SM57, the mic would be just fine but you'd have to plaster the wall.
