Thumbs down Reason

this is for those of you how use computers/DAW's for production

Ive been using reason for almost a year for beats and its the perfect virtual studio, but it seems that not too many people use this tool

this along with other virtual studio programs(project 5, storm, etc) dont get much talk inside the hip hop community

why...?

Prophet-One is an unknown quantity at this point
Because too many people make terrible beats on it everyone is afraid to say they use a computer for production.

i dont think so....

making music is a personal thing , and people tend to take there own route in the beginning(external gear or computer), theres nothing WRONG with "computer beats" myself speaking i started out that way and have been doing it for almost 8 years
just having a
1-computer
2-decent ssoundcard
3-software, i could make beats while i saw others spending WAY Too much money on equipment that they didnt really know how to use (most of the time my beats sounded better)

so these days if your starting out and strapped for cash , computer production seems to be the best way to go.
a good enough computer would run you anywhere from 500-1,000$ add your software , good monitors and your done , your production center
