Angry Clicks Pops - Pisses me off

Ok - I use - a dual processor PII (which was the whip when I bought it) 233Mhz processors - dual SCSI III hard drives - pretty freaking fact and 256 meg of Ram - and two Layla 20s

Cool edit pro - skips and pops and I can only get 5 tracks - other programs - no problem - what's up?

Buffer issues?

Are their clicks on the recorded tracks or just during playback?

you'll need to optimize your system first.

like checking DMA on all hard drives, setting buffers, etc. etc.
