Question Vestax mixer or Pioneer mixer, your opion?

Greetings to all,

I'm having a hard time to decide which one of the brand mixer i should go to. Vestax or Pioneer?

I currently own a vestax pmc 46 rotary mixer. And, it's shown its age. I am looking for a mixer with a rotary fader for house music mixing. I have 1 choice of pioneer djm 3000 and a couple of choices for vestax. Vestax is cheaper, range from 300 - 500 dollars, meanwhile djm 3000 costs around 800 bucks.

I want to get djm 3000 but it's a bit over of my budget. Vestax? it seems there is little support from them. At least pioneer got a forum where you can ask questions and stuff when in trouble. Pioneer has nothing and i have done a search on it. Customer support pioneer would win.

Quality - has anyone got an opportunity to use both Vestax and Pioneer mixers and what is your take/opinion? Or know anyone who has experience of both mixers?

any advice/info appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Hanic

Location: spinsta1 does not rest upon "it" an essential condition of the subject, a condition that has been detached from the 'they'; "it" is rather an existentiell modification of the 'they', of the 'they' as an essential existentiale.

Over the years, I have used a majority of both of the companies mixers.

If you are spinning dance, then I would push you in the direction of Pioneer. However, I'm not sure I'd have you purchase the Pioneer 300. For a few extra dollars, you might as well buy a Pioneer 500 or better yet, the Pioneer 600.

Hi Spin,

Thanks for your post. Well, I have done some more search on the web and there seems to be a trends that people are complaining about vestax customer support despite its great product quality. Pioneer on the other hand has a better customer service.

I will most likely going to get Pioneer djm 3000 even though it's more than I can afford. I hope it's as good as vestax pmc 46,

thanks again for your advice.

cheers!
