help with headphones

what settings do i need to set up cool edit to, to hear my output from cool edit through head phones from my mixer. so i can play fills over tacks with out my mic picking it up from my speakers..? any help would be greatly apreciated thanks...

Can't you just use the headphone jack on your mixer?

Depends on what mixer you have. Even the simple ones should have a headphone jack.... at least I would think.

Need more info - sound card? Mixer? Find an output, and stick your headphones in it!
