Control Room or Isolation Room?

Last summer I built an 8x8x7 room. It was intended to be an isolation room. I then tried to use it as a control room. Now, I had to move everything out of th egarage b/c we got a new garage door and repainted the place.

Should I use the smaller room for drums/iso booth or control room?

Generally, I'm tending to incline towards mixing in the bigger space, hence using the room as an isobooth...

thoughts?

hi

the problem with the room thats 8x8x7 is that its square and wouldnt be ideal for control room as you ll havestanding waves (certain frequencies canceling or reinforcing each other) although i dont know how your space is, i quess if the room you want to use for drums isnt too small use it as your control room
