studio glass window

quick question. i need ot get some glass for a studio window, maybe 3 by 3. Do i need to get soundproof glass for it to be soundproof, or just two thick pieces of glass installed correctly? and what thickness should the glass be? may be a stupid question but ive never done this before. thanks
