Sampling Rate Problem

I have recorded some material using Cubase VST 5.0. I later used Cool Edit Pro to do some Wave file editing on some of the same wave files. Somehow my sampling rate got messed up and the songs are playing back too fast in Cubase. Everything was set to 44.1 kHz but now it won't let me have the sampling rate be anything other than 48kHz.

Thanks
Courtney

Okay, so I again jumped the gun. I was using the wrong driver. I don't know how it changed but it did. I switched to the "Multimedia driver" instead of the "ASIO" driver and now I can set my sampling rate to 44.1 kHz.
