home studio setup help

hey guys ive been like fondling around with ways to set up my studio, but i never get it right... attached is a picture with my equipment and its plug ins and outs. anyone got a good way to do this? im thinkin for now i can do 2 multitracks by panning left n right since i only have my PC soundcard... but someone told me i could use up to 6 multi channels at once on my mixer, if i have that m-audio quatrro or delta or somethin... so im just askin what the best way to connect all this is

Looks like an 8 chl. mixer right ??
That means up to 8 instruments can be simultaneously recorded at once. Use the main left and right out jacks from the mixer to your sound cards line in.
Im assuming the Guiatr port is a processor. You can use those ports for a DI to the mixer or mic a cabinet...either way.
The only thing is you will have to record all tracks together as a single track{no seperation between instruments unless you track each instrument seperate}
