Studio Projects B1

I just got a new B1 from ebay and don't have the shock mount yet. Isn't this mic supposed to come with some sort of clip or something to get it onto a mic stand before I buy the shockmount?? All I found in the box was the mic itself and the foam windscreen. Thanks ...BJ

Talking Yes

It is supposed to have a mic clip that looks pretty similar to a regular dynamic mic clip. It is usually tucked inside the foam windscreen.

The Studio Projects B1 mic comes with a foam wind-screen and a stock mic holder (clip) with a threaded insert adapter (or whatever it's called).

Oh yeah, and a zippered storage pouch, like kid klash said below.

Yeah - like tmix said, look inside the foam windscreen. My B1's also came with a zippered storage pouch.

If you e-mail Alan Hyatt at www.pmiaudio.com I'm sure he'll help you out.
Excellent choice on the B1 BTW.

BJ,
If you purchased this from an ebay retailer I suggest you contact them about this. When purchased new the B1 is packaged with the manual, warranty card, foam wind screen, mic clip (with European stand adapter) and a Studio Projects zipper pouch. If you bought this from someone selling off their B1 on ebay then you should know your buying used equipment and it often doesn't come packaged as new.

Yeah I'm contacting him...... It was a new/packaged B1 and he is a dealer of them apparently...I checked out his website and he does actually deal outside of ebay.

The box was opened and there was the two things missing......hopefully he'll ship them out to me since I checked the auction page and it said that they were included in the accessories.......I remember that cause I chose to buy off of him instead of another since they didn't include anything but the mic. Thanks ....BJ

Oops, thank you Justin, I forgot that the Studio Projects B1 also comes with the manual, warranty card, and either a red, green or black colored dot.
