Question

I just bought a darla 24 sound card. What I need to do is connect my DJ mixer to my input on my soundcard. My turntables are connected to my DJ mixer. When I play or try to record a record onto my computer, it sounds low but distorted and bloated as if it was forced. What do I need to fix this. A mackie mixer? Voltage problem? What can it be?
