Do Keyboards or sound modules usually have balanced outs?

Many keyboards DON'T have balanced outs (like most instruments). On the other hand, many sound modules (especially pro units), do!

![]() it's all about what gear you buy man... check the manual... i got balanced out on everything i've got, but i know nothing of rom keyboards and modules... depending on what you need, you might wanna get something else that rom keys and modules though... personally i couldn't use them for anything but drums.. it's all about what you wanna do with it...

In reality, does having balanced outs make much difference when you are only running a 1metre cable to the mixer.

It *can* make a difference... but I wouldn't worry about it a whole lot.....
