Shock Mount for Studio Projects B1?

Is there one of these out there?? I just bought a B1 online but forgot about the shockmount.....I know the B3 has one but does the B1?? Thanks BJ

This may not make sense because the B1 custom shockmounts are so reasonable in price, but....

Those 8th street and humbucker shock mounts may be ok for the Studio Projects B1, but I'm not so sure about the B3. Look at that shock mount and then look at your B3, how are you going to get to the switches on the B3 when it's in that shock mount? It looks to me like that shock mount would cover the switches on the B3 so you can't get to them.

I have the Studio Projects LQ-21 spider shock mounts, and they don't look like those shock mounts. The Studio Projects LQ-21 holds the mic by the neck (not the body) and doesn't cover the switches. But the SP LQ-21 shock mount is also plastic (I think).

Before anyone gets overly paranoid about plastic threads, consider that even some of the more expensive mic clips from the likes of Sennheiser use plastic.

I take the mic standard metal adapters and Loctite them into my mics that don't use clips (ATM25). The repeated screwing of the mic to the stand puts the wear on the adapter, not on the mic itself. This will work with plastic mic clips also.

The threaded socket on "B-series" shockmounts is metal. I already posted this above but just checked the two mounts I have to be sure.

They definitely aren't plastic although the plain mic clips are.

BTW, if anyone has an MD-441 check out the mounting socket on it's mic clip. The original ones had a metal socket but Sennheiser have changed to plastic and still charge $131.00 Aust., for a replacement clip.
