New Generation Masterlink?

I was at GC the other day and was thinking about getting a Masterlink. The sales guy said he heard they are coming out with a new version and that the old ones may get blown out.

Anybody know what's up with a new version?

Question

I was thinking of buying another Masterlink, but the prospect of a new , upgraded model has made me reconsider.

Of yes, I could think of some desirable upgrades and new features, but how likely is a new model, given the fact that Alesis is no longer a fee standing business entity?

Anymore info on this subject?

As far as I know there is no news of a newer version of the masterlink, I am the Canadian Rep. The only thing that has come out is a masterlink with smaller hard drives and old software for cheaper.....
If I hear anythign different I will post it......
If we keep on waiting to see what might come out, we wouldn't buy anything.............

Cheers

Thanks guys. I ended up getting a new one on Ebay for $750. It's a pretty cool box.
