Glitching Amplitube in Wavelab 4.0

Hello, needing help on why when using Amplitube on a track in wavelab 4.0, it starts to somewhat lockup and or making clicking sounds and won't work basically? I works maybe 1 out of 10 times, but not most of the time. When I disable Amplitube in the effect box, the track will play fine? HELP!!

amplitube takes lots of cpu power.

you may be running out of it.

is this a possibility?
