How do I do this Effect?
Hi All,
Scott Tansley has an effect I like on his song "mistaken" that I would like to learn how it's done. It sound's kind of like a flange, but it fade's too. Can anyone help me? To hear it, it's at this page: http://www.feel-rock.com/songs_01.htm It's at about 1:20 into the song. Thank's from Joe |

But just in case he can't get back to me, I was hoping I could tap the vast knowledge that people on this great bbs have....Joe |

Sorry, I forgot to share how it's done.
He said: On the final mixdown (pre mastering) I made a copy of the mix and flanged it using cooledit pro's stereo flanger. I then used an analogue crossfade to bring it in. He would have told me the setting's if I had cool edit, but I only have cubasis. I definitely plan to try making some transition part's in my song's using that idea. Happy recording.......Joe ![]() |
