Duncan Vs. DiMarzio

Lots of people rather duncan pickups than dimarzio ones...why is that for?

Which one of them offers the best sound?...

Probably because Seymour Duncan makes better pickups.

They're different beast. Gotta love 'em both for their own uniq character. Pros and Cons. Which one do you like, Apples or Oranges...

i have a screamin demon (seymor duncan) in my usa jackson, and that is one one hot pickup, i believe the pickups in my ibanez rg-570b are demarzios (vintage 7,a vintage single coil, and a vintage 8) although not as shreddy as the demon is the dimarzios have a unique quality to them. i like both realy but its like comparing elephants to monkeys it cant be done because they both do different things. i have yet to try bill lawrence but thought about having him make me some customs for my strat(mexican made) which i just put some texas specials in and love. god bless tim pate
