New Monitors TODAY!! need help

Hey, i have been buying a bunch of studio stuff but i still need monitors. I am somewhat new to recording so i dont really know much about what brands sound better than others or what i need for my ear. but i do know that i need a pair within the next day or two. My budget is around 300-400 give or take a little. Please let me have any suggestions as to generally good monitors. I need these soon because i have a few bands that want to record with me once i have all my stuff and im going to need a few weeks to get a basic knowledge of how to use it all. so any suggestions are aprreciated thanks.

If you don't have an amp powered monitors are good.

I'd look into some Tannoy reveals or Yorkville YSMip's.

VesuviusJay will become famous soon enough
Get the M-audio studiophile sp-5b's. Killer value for a great beginner monitor.

The yorkvilles would be a better monitor and so would the tannoys, but i think the studiophiles might be a bit cheaper?

I'd save for one of the others, the 5 inch woofer on the studiophiles won't do.
