Cubase/Sonar Compatibility

I know that Cakewalk effects and plugins can be used in Steinberg programs but is the opposite possible?? Can I use Steinberg VST effects in Cakewalk Sonar and if yes how do I get to them?? Thanks very much.

I never tried the opposite but It should be possible.
the plugs in cakewalk, I believe they are DXi based. So if you`re
using any Dxi plugs in Steinberg products you should be able to use them in cakewalk. if they aren´t there already you just copy the dll`s to your folder in the destinated steinberg program.

hope it helps if not good luck.
