Does anybody know where I can download a pdf file for Sonar 2.0 XL?? I got the program from a friend when he bought 2.2 but with no instructions adn stuff. I checked out the website but just cant seem to find a pdf to download. If anybody has one that they could email to me or a link they could post, I'd greatly appreciate it.........Thanks ...BJ

Cakewalk does not provide a PDF of their manuals.

Have you maybe tried looking in the read me or help file that's installed on your computer when you install Sonar to answer your questions?
Haven't compared that it's info to the manuals, so I'm not sure how good the PC handy info is. But it has some stuff there. |

2.2 IS version 2.0, smart guy, its just a patch/upgrade that is FREE if you bought 2.0. I doubt your buddy buys every patch relase new and tosses the old one. If so, he has about 6 Sonar manuals lying around that you can have. LOL. If you are going to use it stolen, dont advertise it since its pretty obvious, ya know? That manual is huge, anyway, it would take a whole ream of paper to print it. If you want manuals, buy the software. Otherwise, sit down and figure it out.

haha....funny posts. As for Sonar - just press F1. If u can't find out how to use it by the inbuilt help, you won't be able to master it with the manual anyway

I just want to know how in the hell anyone can afford to have Nuendo, Sonar, Wave Lab, Sound Forge, Logic, Cubase, and countless plug ins on their puter at the same time!!! Have you seen these guys? "I use Sonar for my MIDI stuff, but I do all my audio in Nuendo. I was wondering about adding some reverb with my Waves Native Gold Bundle, but I kinda like the reverb in Wave Lab and Sound Forge, too. Should I just dump the whole thing into Cubase SX and take advantage of the VST plugins, or do you think I'd be better mixing it all in Logic Audio?" I'd be happy if I could buy another stick or two of RAM !!! But hey, I guess some folks are blessed with no car payment, no bills, no rent, or anything else that costs money other than pro-level audio software. I'm not bitter. Really......................I'm not!!!
