Question Do rack mount synth/modules output at +4db or -10db?

Just trying to decide on something, and I was wondering if anyone knows if rackmount synthesizer modules output at +4db or -10db?

Thanks,
Jed

What about an Alesis QSR or S4 plus (the rack versions)?
