different in software for mixing?
Is there a different in the software for mixing? beside plugins.
I have protools LE, and looking to try different software to see what kind of mixes i can achieve out of each one. Is there really a different? or should i just stick with my protools LE. I was looking at something like Cubase SX.

I don't think the programs are the limiting factor, it's the person using it...

granted you are correct. probably need to change the title to not just mixing. I'm looking for something with midi and something i can make a better tempo map also for editing.

Well, I have tried Cubase and Logic, but Cakewalk Sonar works best for me...
Tempo-mapping is dead easy in Sonar, can't really speak for the other alternatives...
